Hemingway's.. The Old Man and the Sea
Please read through the following comments as to the Tim Kaine intereview. Also please note in paticular John Harps comments in context to the other comments being made.
I am interested in an opinion as to Mr Harps comments, not only what was expressed but about the kind of person he is, his motivations and in general who he is? Also I need some reasoning as to why you have drawn your conslusion. http://www.charlierose.com/shows/2008/7/30/1/a-conversation-with-governor-tim-kaine

So Tabs, you trying to be a political writer, but you have writers block and need others to feed you opinions so you can recycle the ones you like?

Bah! Old man & the sea...I read that long ago. I was smart enough to realize that my opinion of the piece had better be the same as the professor, only expressed a bit differently, when exam time came around.
Sorry Tabby, didn't bother to click on the link. A Red sox game is on...

PWD I always liked Raymond Chandlers comment about Hemingiway. "If you keep writing the same thing over and over agian sooner or later someone is going to think it is good."

I am just trying to get some feedback as to who John Harp might be?

Come on Boyz step up to the plate and show some MOXIE...
I will tell ya what I think, I think I have a whale of a Kennedyista on the line. Dismissive indignance. It is a knee jerk reaction of a person with the attitude of a Brahman. Only when one gets so close to the truth would one get such a reaction. It is like the Wizard of OZ saying, "Pay no attention to what is behind the curtain. I say pay no attention to what is behind the curtain, it is not important." I also think that a woman wrote it, it has all the tone and structure of a womans voice.

Chandler's books were better than the TV series, and the TV series was good...as far as TV goes.
