Today's rant about the airport

Actually, not about the airport.

About the people, who in the outlying "economy" lots of our airports, change their children's poopy diapers, then fold them up, and leave them on the ground, because they're too troubled to carry the poop for 200 yards to a receptacle. Seriously.

Am I just as bad because I didn't pick up little Tristan or Braeden's diaper and take it to the trash can?

The only time I enjoyed evicting somebody from my rentals was a gal who left dirty diapers in the parking lot, less than 30 feet away from a dumpster.

She got really mad at me, and I just said "Too bad- You're gone."

Off-topic, but still related....

I live next to a middle school, so when school's out at the end of the day the block is a mess - lots of people squeezing into the street with their mini-vans and SUV's. Sometimes they even block my driveway, which drives me nuts! And of course the car's filled with younger siblings, and while they wait for their big brother or sister to come to the car, they get a little bored...

Anyway, one day, it was garbage day, and when I got home and went to the curb to take in my garbage can. Low and behold, some Mommy thought it best to deposit Johnny's diaper with is 'special surpise' in my garbage can. The diaper was not securly folded up, not in a bag - but nice and loose, just like Johnny's little poop, which wasn't little at all. (I swear, little Johnny must have eaten a burrito supreme, nachos muy-grande, and an extra large bowl a chilli, given the volume of crap that was in his diapies...)

It wasn't fun cleaning up my garbage can that day, and I curse the woman who thought it appropriate to do such a thing... If I ever find her, I may just have my dog poop on her lawn. Oh wait, I don't have a dog. Well, I can always visit the local taco place myself....

These are probably the same people that are too lazy to return their shopping karts.

Seriously, leaving a child's dirty diaper laying anywhere is disgusting and a hazard to others, people that do that are trash themselves.

Having had 2 kids I would:

A. Never change a diaper ANYWHERE except a bathroom, bathrooms are for changing diapers seats others sit on and carpets others walk on are not changing stations. The last time I checked Airports have Bathrooms.

B. If I am out doors and change a diaper either in the back of my car or in the stroller the diaper goes straight to a trash can even though I did not like to do that becaus eI knew it would stink out the can and the area around it fast.

But then again these things take consideration which most do not have these days.

Around here you see it everywhere...WalMart, restaurants, mall (even the "upscale" mall). Can't wait to catch someone red-handed so I can fling it back at them!

I was tempted to just set it on the hood of the car i figure it came from. I'd hate to guess wrong, though.

BTW - We always carried these little bags just for dirty diapers, like mini trash bags, you put the wrapped up diaper in it then tied it in a knot and threw it away. We liked these in public because sometimes you might have to carry the diaper with you for a bit beofre a suitable trash receptacle came along.
