Ellie Is Gone

Kinda sad as I watched my 1950 Chevy 3100, Ellie, heading to her new home. But the new owner has the time to rebuild her and was very happy about how straight her body is. He promised to keep me updated on her progress. I have owned her since the early 90s, used her to move.

Always sad to see these classics leave, isn't it?

I remember when I sold my late year 55 chevy pickup. She was really quite the beast and the way she was built, (a built out 327 with a B&W transmission) she really hauled a$$.

I feel your loss...

Randy

Byron,
It's sad, but you're giving someone the opportunity to restore a cool vehicle!

Very true, lots of great memories with Ellie and now someone who truely sees what I saw will bring her into a new life.
I used that truck when I 1st started going to Porsche Swap-Meets, hence the Fred Sanford of the Porsche world nick name.
