I propose the Leisure Olympics for between winter and summer.
Think about it. Equestrian, sailing, ping pong or "table tennis", shooting, handball, badminton, pentathlon, rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming, and trampoline. Anything else where you say during a normal day "I feel like *," without planning or preparing, does not belong in the olympics.

So, remove running? Biking? Weight lifting? Swimming?
Everything in the Games is something that someone says "I feel like doing * today".

Those are not leisurely activities. When I think "running" it does not conjure up the image of someone fully clothed with a small paddle in their hand laughing. Those things require strenuous physical activity. Not sitting on a horse giving it a squeeze and a tug or jumping around with a ribbon in your hand. The only one I might take out of my list is synchronized swimming. Although I do think synchronized diving is half BS too.
