I could have easily produced as valid results with a few hundred dollars at the strip joint.

If I were a psychology academic, that would probably rank pretty high on my list of research to carry out with somebody else's grant money :)

How do I get a grant to research stuff like this, I have a million stupid things that just need to be proven like...

Dam, I’ve been chasing large, shorted legged women with small busts all this time :(

I lived in American Samoa for awhile. While I was down there, these two "researchers" were there with an amazing fishing boat and all kinds of tackle. All they did every day was fish - tuna, mahi-mahi, bill fish etc, Samoa has some great fishing.

Turns out they somehow got a government grant (they were both marine biologist PHD's) to "investigate the sport fishing possibilities in American Samoa."

Six months of fishing on the government/taxpayers dime!!

The point of this ramble - Who approves these studies anyway?

And where do I sign up?

Everyone on the island wanted to go fishing with these guys. I went with them once and caught a yellowfin, four mahis, and a couple of baracudas (the fish, not the women).

American Samoa is one of the great undiscovered places to dive and fish in the south Pacific.

Samoan women are not short, thin, and leggy with big boobs though. They're tall, very large and very friendly ladies with big boobs.
