The Democratic Party Death Match
The smell is that the Dems are doing somemajor fighting with each other. You have the Clintons vs the Kenndys. The Pelosi's trying to talk some sense into the Obama camp. And you have the fighting over the VP in the Obama camp.
Every time Hillary mentions how much she loves Obama she looks like she is getting a stick shoved up her butt. She probably would like to go away and climb under a rock rather than help Obama. However if Teddy is on his death bed come convention time and her spys tell her so, I would not put it past her to try and steal the nomination. The Bill and Hill convention speeches are sops to them, so that they don't go around saying bad things about Obama. When Bill was asked if Obama was ready to be Prez....Bill hemmed and hawed and quicklu changed the subject by distracting the interviewer, which was easy to do for him. Nancy Pelosi knows that if Obama picks a ding bat like Timmy Kaine of VA for a running mate Obama might as well put his tail between his legs and go back to Chicago. She knows Obama needs a MOderate to win, and she is about winning. Nancy got to be Speaker because she is a BIG FUND RAISER....and if she is touting a conservative Dem Congressman from Crawford Texas who is on the Budget Commitee she is having trouble with those donors writing checks. In the Obama camp you have the campaign professional David Axelrod trying to keep things together. Just to keep Obama from stepping on his dick is job enough. Axelrod knows that Obama needs somebody to balance the ticket out with a somewhat moderate guy with some experience. The Kennedys want their boy Timmy Kaine. after all Liberal credientails means more than winning. The idea is they want a non enity that knows less than Obama for Veep. As it stands nothing is resolved yet. They still don't have the Veep lined up, nobody with any common sense in the Party really wants to fall on their sword for Obama. They all think he is a real whack job from Chicago.

Evan Baye is bland enough to...but how does he fit in with Caroline Kennedy is the question. How long has Baye bin in the Sneate? Is he owned by the Kennedys, like Timmy.
The Dems don't want anyone to out shine Obama by exposing what a ditz he really is. If I thought I coulds escape the downside of Obama, I would wish him on all the Liberals. Ya all think ya got it bad now? Just wait for an Obama Presidency...he is gona give away the farm. Just post a sign on the USA.....YARD SALE....come and haul it away.

Why is Caroline Kennedy in charge of anything? Has she ever had a real job?
I can see some Clinton shenanigans at the convention. But if they were to steal the nomination, I can't see how she could win. There would a complete revolt. Of course, she doesn't want Obama to win. But she can't really think she has a shot at being POTUS this time around.

Caroline Kennedy is in charge because her Uncle says she is...Teddy is sick and is not johnny on the spot anymore, so he needs a proxy. Caroline is someone who he can trust implicitly.
Some people might say that Tedys endorsement didn't mean much to Obama...Yeah right then why would Caroline be the one to be picking the VP. It was Teddy's coast to coast muscle of 50 years of favors, money and organization that got Obama the nom. Otherwise Hillary would have been able to eventually brush Obama aside in the Primaries. Obama is the unholy alliance of the Daley's and the Kennedy's. Obama is just their puppet. For Obama supporters NAME ONE THING THAT OBAMA HAS DONE ON HIS OWN POLITICALLY..without being told what to say and do? His speeches are not even his own..

Ricky WHAT DON"T YOU UNDERSTAND about Teddy calling in 50 years of political favors, twisting evey dime he can from donors who he has helped over 50 years, and the use of Political organizations from people who owe Teddy for some past favor.
Teddy calls in favor and that guy calls five people who owe him favors and before you know it you have an organization from coast to coast. As the Godfather said after the meeting with the Heads of the MOB, "Before today I never knew it was DON Kennedy that was behind Obama. Obama would never have been able to out fight Hillary."
