A R5 turbo would, and probably could, run circles around any Porsche that we know of on this forum. They are fast, as in really fast.

Sorry but that's waaaaay overstated. Plenty of P-cars here that are seriously quick

The 'street' version R5 turbo is a far cry from the rally car. 0-60 in the mid 6's, and 14.5 1/4 mile. Respectable but not 'fast.' Handling is the stong point -- in the twisties they shine, but so do Porsches.

That said, I would love to have one. I remember they had one in one of the old Bond films in the 80s. Nice little pocket-rocket, a la 'mini-cooper'
