Exactly what do the Chinese care if 47 million Americans don't have health care insurance? There are a Billion Chinese that don't have health care insurance. They would tell Americans to save their money if they want health care. Why does what the Chinese think matter to Americans? It is very simple, they hold over a TRILLION USD. How many other foreign governments and investment groups are holding what amounts to Trillions of USD?.


All they have to do is deem that the USA can't afford a health care program, or a put a windfall profit tax on oil companies or some other such tom foolery. They could then either start dumping USD, cut off their investment in US Treasuries or the investment in US business as being too risky because the credit rating of the USA has just dropped below what they deem as being a safe investment. Exactly how long would a President Obama program last under those circumstances? That is exactly why the rhetoric of the Democratic Party is too ludicrous to contemplate. The day that America is the sole master of its own destiny is passing before our very eyes.

Foreign nations and investment groups don't give one wit about the American standard of living, all they care about is return on investment.
