This Saturday marks 11 years with my bride.

I want to get her something nice but she isn't like other fru fru girls. She likes to travel so this summer we went to Cancun for a week, the Connecticut coast for a week, Hawaii for 2 weeks, and she got to spend two weeks on her folks farm in Iowa.

I think I blew my wad - I gots nutt'n left! (Maybe I will finger paint her a nice card?).

As a man who has had a combined relationship time of 2 months: I say that will work :D.

Just a thought... It'd be like me giving my wife a copy of AutoCAD or a nice set of Rapidographs. I think she'd disown me. But I can get 'em both cheap!

I'm taking a swag at this, but is there any landscaping around the house you've been putting off?

A little water element, a gazebo, new lawn, perhaps an endless pool.

That or the hair brushes, your call.;)

Call one of her best women friends and ask her which local spa is the one they're all talking about, then get her a day... or an afternoon there. It probably won't matter that "she isn't like other fru fru girls"... what woman doesn't like being pampered, huh?

If you already know she wouldn't like that, get her a chainsaw.

What is she getting you?
Your post tells us of many things you've done for her.
Is it a two way street or are you making payments?

Spa isn't her thing. She does like pedicures though. As for the gradining projects, pretty much done but I guess I could pull a few weeds! (I was hoping she would do that with the kiddos back in school).

As far as the hair brushes go, I would rather not give her any ideas. I get enough stuff thrown up my rump I don;t need anything with bristles!

how about a hallmark card?

cheap, but shows that you remember the occassion. I've had my wife beat me over the head when I failed to acknowledge an important date with a card or some flowers. We celebrated our anniversary this week and I got her the card and some flowers...these things mean a lot to the ladies, fru fru or not. Shows 'em you're a sensitive and caring man.

Now all the other stuff like jewels and nice vacations is so that she doesn't ask how much you spend on your car:)

Bang her in the butt 11 times, then once more to grow on...
