Greetings Citizens
As you already know President Obama legislative initiative "Brothers Keeper" has been enacted into law by Congress. The aim of the law is to help disadvantaged families relocate out of Federal and State housing to more stable neighborhoods with lower crime and better schools so that these people may participate in the American dream. As such the program dictates that housing these people in their new locals requires that families that meet certain standards share their homes with the disadvantaged families. These home owners must have their homes outfitted or retrofitted with disabled persons facilities that meet Federal guidelines. This is to be done at the owners expense.
If the disadvantaged families have no car or their car is deemed to be a gross polluter the host family will provide them with a car or share their car. This is the anti-pollution provisions in the new legislation. As an incentive for the host family's, these family's will receive a tax cut. They will qualify for a lower rate on the new anti-global warming utility taxes that have just been passed into law by Congress. They will qualify for a slightly lower rate on their water taxes, electric taxes, gas taxes, sewage taxes and trash pickup taxes. Greeting your family home has been selected as a "Brothers Keeper" home. Your new disavantaged family will be arriving within the next two weeks from South Chicago. They are a family of 5, composed of an unwed mother and her 4 children ages ranging from 12 down to 1 1/2 years. Monique is the mothers name, Tashika, Jamal, Jesse Jr and Tanika are the childrens names. They will certainily enjoy living by the beach in Southern California with an ocean view andwill enjoy meeting all the host familys freinds and associates.

I know Jim, thinking is hard work that tires you out. But I have confidence in you, that if you keep trying you too can have an orginal thought one day.

That was original thought? I must have received a dozen emails on the same theme. Not that I disagreed with them.

You think that's original, Tabs? It's almost a carbon copy of a fake press release from 1963 during the civil rights struggle when some racists tried to convince poor blacks to show up at the Kennedy compound in MA. because they would have jobs and housing for them. Damn near identical. You must have heard it somewhere a long time ago and been amused, then the hamster wheel between your ears recycled it as being original recently.

I'm sure it was somebody's original thought...once upon a time. This has happened in the past...right after the Russian revolution.

Who said anything about race, other than you? After the Russian revolution people were forced to take in others. I'm sure most involved were white...(edit) Whoops...just re-read Speeders post. At least I didn't say anything about race until you did.

It's almost a carbon copy of that 1963 press release . . .
Except the spelling and grammar are much, much worse.

I just think this needs some prime-time exposure. Don't let it just fade away, you know.

It actually has some structure and flow to it. Thats what tipped me off to it being a 'copy'.
