The fair and balanced coverage of the RNC by CNN is laughable.
Campbell Brown is a hottie but she gets under my skin. She pretends to seek out info to educate herself and her viewers but she's really just brow beating her interviewee. Did you catch her bit with Tucker Bounds about Palin? Tucker should've done his homework about Palin's experience so that he was more prepared for Campbell's questioning. I doubt though if CNN was as rabid when they questioned Obama's camp about his inexperience. All they do is fawn all over the guy!

It'd never happen. Edit: Did you catch how they were all co-signing her browbeating last night? I was worried for a minute that Wolf Blitzer was going to ejaculate right on the floor of the convention.

The local news stations are completely dissing the Republican convention, which is a surprise to no one.
They replayed the sound bites from the dem convention over and over and over, it's all they could talk about. The republican convention? Maybe 30 seconds near the end of the program. There are very few real journalists left in this world. |

Well, in Campbell's defense, Tucker Bounds is a bit of a bozo and a robot. I don't know why any news outlets pay any attention to campaign spokespeople. They just recite talking points, dodge questions they don't have good answers for and you always know they're gonna defend their guy no matter what. I can't recall ever learning something new about a candidate from a campaign spokesperson.
If any of you guys watch Howard Wolfson on Fox, I think it's rather telling how much more honest and forthcoming he's become since he's he now getting paid by Fox instead of the Clinton campaign. He doesn't hide his loyalties, but he actually says what he believes. Ditto for Karl Rove. BTW, Campbell Brown is married to Dan Senor, who was Paul Bremer's media guy in Iraq. He's on Fox and CNN a lot now too.
