I completely understand the wanting to remain anonymous thing. But if you're posting in PP regularly why not at least post somewhere your real name. Not necessarily your entire name. But joe, bill, frank whatever. I hate responding to, (and I'm using an example) Hey Thing!. Think about it. It's not like I'm asking you for your home address, credit card number, etc. If you're concerned, us a pen name like "joe, bill, frank, whatever".

I agree with Hugh, no need to post your last name, but first name should appear.

But, folks still call me "kstarnes" when "Kurt" appears at the bottom of every post. I usually look for a first name in someone's post if I am going to quote or reference them . . . or call them an offensive name.

It's funny, this is the first forum I've been on where (unless you've met face to face) people make a concerted effort to call you by your real name, vs your stage name.

Everywhere else, you only call someone by their first name if you've at least met them, if not drank beer with them.
