Proof that carrying guns is dangerous
One of the problems with carrying a weapon is that if you don't wield it skillfully, it can be taken from you and used against you. Rumor has it the mother in the story wasn't Sara Palin, but was operating under the influence of the effects of Palin's speech.

That's a great story! I mean, it's too bad that it happened to them in the first place but could not have turned out better. She is a good person, saying, "I'm not happy that someone is dead." I'm not so charitable. I'm very happy that he's dead. Anyone who would do such a crime is an extreme danger to innocent people and removing them from the game permanently is the best possible solution. God bless her.

They were lucky this happened in Texas. A few years ago, a Benton County Oregon homeowner was facing prosecution for shooting an intruder. He eventually won, but only after an expensive legal battle. I donated to his defense fund...
