Olberman and Mattews Riding the Pine

He he he!

"The change reflects tensions between the freewheeling, opinionated MSNBC and the impartial newsgatherers at NBC News. Throughout the primaries and summer, MSNBC argued that Olbermann and Matthews could serve as dispassionate anchors on political news nights and that viewers would accept them in that role, but things fell apart during the conventions."

I"m not sure if I agree with you on this one Mule,, kinda would be nice to see those two idiots melt down election night when the Dems are getting their arses kicked... Obermans hatred of anything right of Stalin is out of control. Perhaps an on air suicide would get ratings.. I for one would pay money to watch that fool put a 44 mag to his head and spatter it all over Matthews hahahaha!!

I like Matthews, he of course has his leanings like most, but I think he's a very good commentator.

Olberman is a pure idiot. Although I do watch him sometimes for laughs. His infatuation/hard on for Bill O'Reilley is hilarious. His pretending to be objective is funny, too. I can't believe there is anyone who takes him seriously.

He was pretty good when he was at ESPN, though.

Pistols at twenty paces. That's what I'd like to see.

If NBC will be smart enough to remove Olbermann from its NFL coverage, maybe I'll tune into that.

God, that was painful to watch, pure and simple. That man has no business discussing football highlights.

Matthews isn't so bad IMO. Sure, Obama sent "tingles up his leg", and he worked for Carter, but he also voted for GHWB and GWB (according to him). That tells me he is more than just a partisan hack.

Speaking of partisan hacks, Olberman should be relegated to Air America and forgotten. He's just as shrill and unreasonable as Rosie O'Donnell, Barbara Streisand, Jeanine Garafolo, and Al Franken all rolled into one.

Give Ted Nugent and Tom Selleck talk shows. That would be interesting.
