Yes. Or close. Looked at a Lexus 400h. Very interesting. As silent as a Benedictine monk, which has its own dangers (i.e. mall parking lots). Gorgeous interior. Nice ride. Well appointed.
A real downside, however, was the vehicle lacked low-end power, and the fuel mileage was not enough to justify its cost. The dealer had the 400h listed at $10K above the price of a standard Lexus 350.

We just bought the regular one - 2008 non hybrid - I couldn't justify the cost difference (for the wifey, she doesn't drive that much) - and I personally think the hybrid cars need a few more years of product testing.
