New tires, may have had some miles left
Cleaning up the car last weekend for the trip to Ventura, didn't notice how bad the tires were but thought I should change them before the trip, if I had a flat with my wife in the car the verbal abuse would have gone on forever.
These don't look too bad do they?

It will have to wait till after the Ventura trip, what will I expect to pay? the car is in pretty good shape and just turned 70k

I certainly wouldn't waste money on new tires if you're not gonna get an alignment. Alignments are probably cheaper than the next set of tires you'd need in short order.

To many, those lasted 10K miles, the rest was luck. I can understand if you run a bunch of negative camber, or toe in for better grip on the track, but damn. If one gives you could wipe out.
If you run that way on the highways, you might want to re-think things before something bad happens. It doesn't rain, I'll never hydro plane, ok. Do it on your own time, but take into consideration those around you, please.
