So Ike is 246.4 Nautical Miles from my house and ...

The neighborhood I have to go through to get to my house is flooded. Things to ponder.

(this one obviously of the yacht basin...)

Ike is 797 miles from my house and headed straight this way.... current forecast calls for it to turn north before getting here but will still get some serious wind and rain if it does and do we ever hope it does.

Houston, you may have a problem though if some of the models are accurate.

Spent all day boarding up and clearing the yard. This is not a fun way to spend the day.

I'm going to drive the 2 blocks to my office and park it on the second floor of the parking garage. Pull the battery power, pull the coil wire, and lock the doors.
