Driving by a car dealership I spot some old cool cars in the lot, so I pull in. Free pizza, free entry, free gifts (coffee mug etc...) and a drive-in style inflatable movie screen which will be showing the movie Bullet.

There will be six or more Pantera's at an autoshow in Michigan this Sunday. I'll e-mail John (that's his car) and get more information.

Also I've heard the Battle of the Brit's is this Sunday in Warren, MI.

Might be something Italian at Turtle too.

The Pantera owner at the car show said there used to be 20-30 cars/guys between parts of Canada, Michigan and Ohio which used to see each other at the local shows. Now-a-days it's down to just six cars/guys, no one seems to know what happened to the other cars (stored overseas by now?).

Anyway, I remembered the show this Sunday is sponsored by Ford and the name of the city in Michigan started with a "B". I think six Pantera's (weather permitting) will be at the Birch Run event.

Hosted by Mustang Club of Mid-Michigan at Birch Run Expo Center. Event hours are 9am to 4pm with check-in running 8am to 12 noon. Registration fee is $20 (pre-registration $15 before September 10, 2008). Join us for a day of fun for the whole family. Goody bag and dash plaques for all. Show hours 9am-4pm. Registration and judging 8am to 12noon. All FoMoCo cars welcome. Lots of classes lots of trophies and lots of fun. One time we were staying at the Union Plaza in old town Las Vegas and I walk out on my balcony and see Fremont street lined wit twenty or thirty (or more) Pantera's.

Some sort of car club meeting.

One of my dream cars too... although I hear maintenance is a nightmare.

I think I will take the yellow Saleen instead.

Because of the rain, all three of the car shows Sunday were called off . I'm pretty sure battle of The Brits was canceled as well but I don't have verification.

If anyone catches wind of a re-schedule for one or all these cars shows, please post it here.
