Firefox wizzards
 

I have been using firefoz for a while and I really like it, I refuse to use IE anymore, it has thrown me under the wheels of the bus for the last time. Well I recently had a lappy crash and ended up doing a refresh, which included my new firefox install, well when I create a shortcut to my desktop it also adds a "file icon" It is nothing more than just pics and bars and useless junk but if I remove it I lose my shortcut ican as well.
Does anybody know how to delete the files icon and still have a functioning shortcut? I did surf the firefox website but I am at a loss.

same problem at my desk.
I also can't use spell checker with fire fox, when writing at the pelican BB.
