Paint over powdercoating?

Is it possible to paint over a powder coated part? Does it require anything more than scuffing and spraying?

Here's why I ask. I bought a used roll bar. It's been powder coated, and looks pretty good. Still, I'd like to paint it with some two-part enamel.
