Discovered these about a year ago and now I'm addicted. It's like a Mallow Cup on steroids.

Hmmm my favorite "common" candy? Probably Reeces Pieces. Oh, Oh, and a Hostess Cherry Pie washed down with an A&W Root Beer. mmmmmm

Favorite chocolate: plain M&Ms.

Tobra 09-18-2008 08:36 PM

one word for you

Snickers

another hot tip, animal crackers and peanut M&M's eaten together kick ass See's Candy is a California thing,

therotman 09-18-2008 10:02 PM

Trader Joe's Belgian Dark Chocolate is the best plain chocolate that is not $1+ per nibble.

See's isn't very high on my list- it's better than herseys garbage or what you can buy at the grocery store during v-day for $20, but nothing like what you can get at a small town chocolate shop.

Does anyone remember the little penny candies called "Coconut Long Boys" or the larger "Long Boy Kraut"?

For chocolate: Mounds, Reeces or "Turtles/Millionares"

Another thing we did and don't know if anyone else has tried it is bite the end off a piece of black licorice and pour a Pixie Stick in there.
