feeling hoogie boogie

Anyone else traveling to hoogie boogie land tonight? I feel the need for...something.

You can drink through a very large straw without that tooth!

If I close my eyes, I could swear that is Jim Dandy from Black Oak Arkansas (Hot & Nasty)!

Have you seen the full 20+ minute "documentary" on them? (Complete)

See ya' later Sparky!

I think I got lost in "Hoooogie Boooogie" land years back when I took a shortcut from Beckley West Virginia on the way home. I didn't see any sign of wars and the inhabitants looked strangely similar to the band.

Hoogie Boogie Land is alright, but their other tunes are really the ultimate expressions of lyrical poetry in rock and roll. Think Leonard Cohen, Jim Carroll, Lou Reed, Richard Hell, Jim Morrison, Patti Smith etc.

For example "Dream-ing", "Hot as Hell", and the magnum opus "Beautiful Sunrise".

Youtube beckons, do not resist.
