It seems that the PARF experiment is going rather well. One issue that has popped up is overtly political posts in otherwise non-political threads. Some of this is obvious, while other is more judgement call.

So here is an interpretations by the stewards:

Threads that start with a political post will be sent directly to PARF.

Threads that start with a non-PAR topic but descend into PAR rancor with multiple posts will be sent directly to PARF.

Threads that only have one PAR post will have that post deleted and the thread will stay in OT.

This is an attempt to keep otherwise interesting threads from being hijacked. As always, if someone has a concern about a thread/post hit the "report to mod" button - we don't read everything and have other things to do if this so-called life.

The PARF experiment is fantastic, IMO. It's a lot more pleasant on PPOT. Keep the "all hate, all the time" stuff in the back alley. :)

I am hoping the new no-hate OT might draw back some members who stopped participating.

As a social experiment, I give it an A+.

I find this thread offensive and distasteful. It should be moved to "the jungle".
