I will settle for a $100 bailout. Anybody want to bail me out?

Jim Richards 09-29-2008 01:55 PM

Is it better to work at the soup kitchen, or just be a frequent patron?

craigster59 09-29-2008 02:02 PM

I'm going to be livin' on Walton's Mountain putting everything on my tab at Ike Godsey's store.

I too, agree that a $100 is the only thing that will save me now.

You guys need to act fast and give me $100 or it's only going to get worse. I'd explain to you why, but you just wouldn't understand. It's a very complicated situation, and I don't want to confuse you with details. I KNOW about these things, and $100 is the only thing that will save us.

oh right, we're going to trust a *musician*. You'll just use that money for strings. Then where will we be?

We kind of just water it, and the stuff grows like crazy. SmileWavy

+1

I'll even go as far as promising you that I "might be able to pay you back, but I really can't say when or how!"

Buying strings is an important foundation of the musical economy. If Americans aren't able to buy strings affordably, then the whole musical economy will crumble. Every American, even ones that can't afford guitars, should AT LEAST be able to buy strings if they have the desire.

nostatic 09-29-2008 04:29 PM

good point - you can always fashion a garrote out of them and use that to rob a Quickie-Mart

Does it involve zombies and/or in-laws?

In that case, could we just fashion a noose?

craigster59 09-29-2008 08:31 PM

Hey! I own a jacket just like that, had it for 20-some odd years. I think I'll use it this winter instead of buying a new to support the economy. Should be easy to "Moonwalk" on the icy sidewalks.
