Line of credit at WaMu, now what?
 

What happens to the line of credit or rest of the money at WaMu if you are half way from the whole withdraw. I like to finish the ever on going home improvment proj for a very nice client but would like to get pay also. Do I get the boys to pack up and pull out. We have never had to do that.

ask the client to pull the funds and place into a savings account. I don't think you have much option other than continue work, unless the contract is worded heavily in your favor.

Don't be shy about holding drawings hostage and/or filing mechanics liens on projects right now. It's getting ugly. If a client starts stalling you over payments, cut them off at the knees. Don't be soft.

I've seen this before - nice guys finish last.

Acn they stil pull the funds, even today?

Still need $65000 to finish. Too many changes, we've been at it for over a year already. She pays well and on time. Last payment was Friday and never a complain.

No more nice guy. The last and only time people own us any money was this freaking doctor at my sister's hospital in 2005. They owe me more then 48000 bucks. Liens and everything else are a real pain in the rear and you always loose.
