I get to go fishing during my lunch break.... :) Not big bass (one of the facilities guys pulled a 5lb bass out, my biggest has been about 2, most about 1, but on ultralight tackle it is fun)

Walleye, thems some good eatings. Nice! Last walleye I caught was at the supermarket. Not much of a fight, but the bait was expensive.

My dads fishs the rivers of Western Michigan. Its been a good fall.

Man fined after having 44 walleye over the limit

A northern Minnesota man has been fined $3,500 for taking 44 walleye over the limit.

Department of Natural Resources officials said they received an anonymous tip about the fish 67-year-old Robert Allen Hansen was catching on Lake of the Woods.

Conservation officers said they found 22 packages of frozen fish containing 77 walleye in the Baudette man's freezer.

The DNR said Hansen pleaded guilty in Lake of the Woods County District Court to one count of possessing walleye over the limit.

lol I heard about that. Apparently, Its a serious offense out here in the great white north!

Going back up there tomorrow, devils lake & goose lake. I think the ND Pheasant season just opened so I got my shotgun loaded up already :)

What's a pheasant? We haven't seen one here in W. PA for along time.

Maybe he meant peasant? They are abundant in ND and there's no limit. ;)
