I drove my '74 911 from Detroit to West Palm Beach, FL about 18 months ago and put 3600 miles on the car in 6 days. I was so sore I could barely move! It was fun, but that's too many miles in 6 dfays for me. Next time, I'll break the trip up a little more!

LOL. My 87 had cruise control. If by cruise control you mean that once activated it continuously accelerates to some limit I was unwilling to find.
