Internet Ammo: Where?

Share your suppliers of Ammo from the web. I'm starting to stock up. Mannn! 5.56 is getting expensive. The least expensive I've found so far is $395 for 1000 rds. CMP is still a good place to get 30-06, at $100 for 400 rds. Cheaper than dirt has .308 $110 for 200 rds.

Anything better out there?

www.aimsurplus.com has (new) 500rd cans of 5.56 for $169
Shipping is cheap with them as well. Lookee here

If you don't mind running surplus ammo, try www.ammoman.com
They have wolf 223/556 down to $269/1000 inc shipping
(one thing to note, all their prices seem higher but include shipping/delivery)

ammunitiontogodotcom is hands down the best price.

Rick Lee 10-05-2008 02:23 PM

Just checked. The price there has actually gone down! $235 for 1000 rds. of Silver Bear, which is very good ammo.

i just bought 9mm from georgia-arms.com. Not sure about their 5.56 prices.

$228.99 for 1000 rounds of Wolf ($219.99 for 2+).

Some decent deals here too.

Rick, can you reload the bear stuff?

Rick Lee 10-05-2008 04:15 PM

Dunno. I haven't gotten back into reloading since I got my M4.
