Played hookie today and went straight to HELL!
Hell, MI that is. Not many nice days like this one left, so I took advantage of it! It was a good time and a beautiful day. Here are some pics that I took today (10-9-08). Enjoy.....

The drive was awesome! Lots of twisties. We've already had a couple of frosts but it's warmed up again for a few days. Won't last long and it'll be back in the mid 50s. Today is like high 60s to low 70s, perfect!

My dad has done the 'Run though Hell' running race a number of times over the years. Beautiful area actually.

Bill and Wayne, if you've got the time you should pass through Midland (on 10), Take 115 up to Benzonia and explore the roads north of there. It is such a beautiful area with great flora and topography, and some awesome roads. I took the wife's car up Tuesday night to do some salmon fishing and had more fun driving to the different rivers than I did fishing. Some really cool roads, great scenery, and lots of cool places to stop for food.
