Warrick Brown was doing his own investigation into a mob boss who was connected to a higher up in the department. He got too close and the crooked cop (who turned out to be the "under sherif" - not sure what that is) blew Warrick away in an alley.

The back story is that Warrick was framed for the murder of the mob boss by another crooked cop, because Warrick was starting to figure it all out. The CSI team was able to exonerate Warrick and figure out who is was that framed Warrick.

Bottom line, two crooked cops and a mob boss - all dead now after last night's show - brought down by Warrick and Katherine Willows and the rest of the CSI team.

Nah, cut in front of tabs @ the Bellagio. The body was found at the bottom of a flight of stairs.

CSI Vegas WAS one of our favorite shows to watch together. We mostly made time for it almost like a date every Thursday night. Has there been 5 new shows in 18 months? Rediculous to follow a series when there are months in between shows. The entire original team is gone or will be soon. Frankly, after the writers strike and now another strike looming, I'm pretty much done watching it.

you think killing off Warrick REALLY had anything to do with not being able to reach terms on a new contract, as per Wiki...or does it have anything to do wit hthe fact that the actor that plays Warrick got busted for drug possession in (I think) Palm springs not that long ago. It sunk off the news in a flash but i remember thinking a drug problem that was causing problems for production would be a fast way to get 86'd off a hit tv show. Anyone know anything more about that?

P.S. yeah, Sarah gained a few ELL-BEE's alright. But mostly thats just getting older probably.

I loved the first couple seasons of CSI when it was more about the science of investigating the crime.

It started out as a murder mystery style show.

Now it had degenerated to a police soap opera with lots of gratuitous sex.

She looked like she aged about 10 years as well.

Never did like her, was glad when she left the show.

Overall I'm bored with CSI - every show is the same, X3 of course.

Every drammatic show that lasts any length of time eventually devolves into a soap opera. There are only so many story lines until you begin repeating yourself. Then they explore the characters.

The "gratuitous sex" is what's supposed to keep you intersted. On the other hand, I can't understand how sex could ever be judged gratuitous on a broadcast network tv show! Cable, maybe. Not regular-ass tv.
