1967 heckflosse info request embraer, from shaun 84 targa thread

I think I may be purchasing a 67 mercedes 250e heckflosse with the 6cyl. Decent price, little body rust reported, lower rear rocker bubble and bubble near sunroof. I am going to look at it monday. Any good places like pelican for info? MBworld?

When I had mine, info was pretty limited. Just really look around for structural rust. The front fenders, just aft of the wheelwells is a classic area for rust.

Also, check around the headlight area.

http://www.heckflosse.nl/ has some info, but a lot of it is dated. i'm not sure when that site was updated.


if the car hasnt been driven, set aside a few hundred bucks for new filters, hoses, etc. My car was in great shape, but it sat for years. i had to go through about 5 fuel filters, new hoses, etc.
