What is with the NY Jets uniforms?
 

They change them or are they wearing throwbacks the last 2-3 games?:confused:

Before the Jets were the Jets they were the Titans, they have been wearing the Titan colors the last 2 games

FWIW, 2-0 in them.

I like them! I also like the Packers throw backs as well. They just seem more interesting - maybe cuz its sump'n different.

I am old school but I cannot seem to like most of the teams throwback uniforms.
Even though my team still wears throwbacks! Go Chiefs......setting the bar for last place honors!...lol

I was looking for the game on TV and after seeing the jersey I figured I had the wrong channel. Other than selling fans more merchandise, what's the point?

The Raiders and their throwback philosophy might have something to say about that.

It could be worse, they could wear a different uniform at every single stinking game like a certain college in the pacific north-west. What the heck is up with that? Identify crisis?

What starts out as a publicity thing quickly turns into superstition. They may have only wanted to have them for one game but if the one game was a killer then they will look to duplicate it on every level. Athletes are the most superstitious people on the plant!

Plus its cool - keeps things fresh.

Also, when teams go with the throw backs there is the recognition factor. Players get confused when the other team isn't wearing the "right" uniform.:D

True - Our lil Girl couldn't find her soccer jersey for a game so she wore a white tee shirt instead. her jersey is blue and pink vertical stripes. The team they played wore kelly green shirts. The other coach said it was OK so she played with the tee shirt. She had the best game ever. The girls from the other team would just stop when she came towards them like she was from another planet! It was pretty funny to watch...

That explains the Boise St. football field when they wear all blue uniforms on a blue field. Whenever they are televised I put on my welding glasses!;)

I hear ya Dal, if it weren't for the orange helmets....... I feel sorry for the fans attending the game, they can't even see their own players! Maybe they enjoy watching one big, long dot race?
