borrowed bike for a track day - kinda the equivalent of taking your buddy's CGT for a few hot laps on your first day. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/g...an1/desmo3.jpg |
Hope you're friend enough to pony up...
heh - not my bike or my track day.
That is an $80K moto :p |
I'll take that Duc behind it thank you very much!
Yowsa. I'd modify your original statement, and change "CGT" to something like "911 GT1" (if they were still being made).
Who borrows something like that for a first track day? Who lends something like that, particularly for a first track day? I'm no motorcycling god, but the results were quite predictable. |
Hey Alarick, I was thinking of getting into motorcycles, but never have ridden. Mind if I borrow your Ducati for a track day? I figured it'd be the best place to learn how to ride...
Oh it hurts to see that. Such an awesome bike too.
Eh, who cares... its not a Porsche :)
It obviously needed more blue tape.
You loan such a vehicle to do a track day. Bike goes down. What did you expect? I'm guessing a guy with that kind of money ain't crying to much.
It honestly not THAT bad. That rear swing arm is going to be spendy, and of course the carbon and plastic will be some $, but I don't see more than $10-12k there. Not cheap,to be sure, but its a bloody expensive machine..... |
 Holy carbon-fiber Batman... I just looked it up and the retail price on that bike is >$72K.
