Help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

To the pelican community, I am running the Seattle marathon and also doing fund raising for a worthy cause. In addition to raising money for blood cancer research, I have lost over 30lbs which helps the goal of making my 911 as light as possible.

Please read below and if you feel like supporting the effort I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Don

ps An open challenge, I'm matching (up to $500 total) any donation from the pelican community.

I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fund raising campaign.

Please use the link in this email to donate online quickly and securely plus learn more about my progress. You will receive a confirmation of your donation by email and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation.

Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support.

On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I greatly appreciate your generosity.

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would forward this email to as many people as you can to encourage them to donate as well. Thanks again.

Don - I can't think of a better cause.
Best of luck in the marathon
I lost my mom to lymphoma 27 years ago & since then i have been an avid supporter of the local leukemia & lymphoma society.
They are also having a LLS walk locally here this weekend.
Any pelicans that have $$$ that's just burning a hole in their pockets, please donate.
Thanks

This is a GREAT cause. One of the highest percentages of donations go to research of any charity. Less for administration.

I've donated $1000's. My sister had Non-Hodjkins lymphoma and since remission has just run her 13th marathon with Team in Training for the L&L society.

I'm going to ride in one of their Century Rides next spring.
