what is the best way you have seen a Cellphone destroyed?
hahahahha. i still crack up. the labor foreman dropped his cell phone into a construction jobsite outhouse. he had to pull it off a flotilla of crap and paper. he actually tried to save it! i would have pushed it off the raft of hell, and sank that sucker. it shorted out, and had to get tossed anyways.
mine i have sent thru the washing machine cycle. no bueno. |
two days after the iphone first came out, i watched a guy pull out of a parking lot with one still on the roof of his car.
and i too have run a cel through a washing machine. |
your guy could see a dime in the can...
he then throws another one after it.. ?... waddle in scheisse for a dime .. hell no.. 20 cents ..well that's different. Rika |
Cell phone through a washing machine will usuakky dry out ok. Battery may not make it though.
Can't speak for poop in the keypad .... |

Back in high school I let a buddy borrow my StarTac (remember those?) at a keg party. It slipped out of his hand and fell into the plastic cup full of beer. I still remember how that clear cup full of beer glowed green and orange, like the Titanic slipping into the ocean.:D

I rode my waverunner with my phone in my pocket this summer. Then I stood in waist deep water for a few minutes afterward as I put the waverunner back on the lift. When I climbed back on the dock I realized what I had done. I thought for sure that the razr I had been using for over 2 years had finally met its demise. But, alas, after 3 days of drying out, it started working again, even the battery. However, at first a few of the buttons did not work, then the external ringtone speaker went out. After a few weeks though, everything went back to normal and the phone was 100% fully functional again. I used it for a good 2 months after that until I upgraded to my Blackberry.

I put mine in the side pocket of the fabric cooler that I had on my boat one day.
The ice melted, the phone shorted, and never worked again. Aurel |
I tossed one of mine out the car window off the Edison Bridge on the Garden State Parkway. It's probably somewhere out in the Atlantic by now.:D

A big wave over the side at Splash Mountain at Disney killed mine.

Was working under a car seat, had it held against my ear with my shoulder, sweat into it so bad it cooked.
Was the best thing that ever happened to it, the origional MotoQ was a POS. I like the Q9c though I take better care of this one. Son left an old Motorolla non flip phone on the roof of his car, it stayed there for about 1/2 a mile before it went sailing. When he couldn't find it I called it and someone answered it. Told me where it was and I went to get it. The fellow was holding it in 3 pieces with the wires still intact, and functioning. Have duct tape will travel. |

My wife was once visiting me in my office building, and was using the ladies room. She stood up to flush the (industrial) toilet, and her cell fell out of the pocket of her hoodie sweatshirt and went down with the flush. Completely gone... probably in the Charles river by now.

I suspect they'd make for pretty decent trap shooting too.

i dropped my old lg in my fish tank, it dried out but eventually all the important buttons failed.
also at my old shop i was on it, set it on a trunk sill, then shut the trunk and destroyed it.....i was so pissed cause it was 3 days old so i took a hammer to it to vent :D |
I sometimes spazz out while I am trying to work and both the shop phone and my cell phone will ring off the hook. A couple of years ago, I put both the shop , and cell phone on my sturdy steel work bench, and smashed the living hell out of both of them with a nice 3 lb sledge. That temper tantrum cost me about 150.00 but I did not have to answer any phones for the rest of the day , and got done with the days work. I also ran one over ( this one was an accident). I also used to regularly lauch cordless handsets right out the front door. .

Cat piss.

Dropped one as I stepped off of the boat onto the dock. It was just before dawn, and it made a volleyball-sized glowing green bubble as it blew up.
Was three days on the road before I was somewhere long enough to have a new one FedEx'd. BTW, your service providers' 'insurance' is a fraud. If you have it, you have been ripped off. |
I took off down the road in my old Jeep. After a couple minutes, I saw something in my rear-view mirror shatter on the road behind me.
"Huh. That's strange" I thought to myself. A couple seconds later I remembered where I left my phone. "Oops!" I did have the 2.99/month insurance, and they did give me a new phone when I brought the pieces to them in a shoebox. |

Well I managed to drop my BlackBerry Pearl in the john this morning... Not the "best" way but it won't turn on so it's "effective"

When pagers were still the rage, I was at the outdoor shooting range when my ex-girlfriend beeped me. I promptly tossed it up in the air, drew my .45 and obliterated it after the 2nd shot.

\ my old hewlitt packard. three rounds of 9mm. |
Woke up one morning in my post-collegiate bachelor apartment-dwelling days with a phenomenal hangover and trudged into the bathroom to find my phone in the toilet. Doh.
Used to run a McD's and the staff used to drive me up a wall using the phone. Used to unplug it (wall mount) but they'd catch on and plug it back in. So I ripped the whole damn thing off the wall and tossed it in the safe. Problem solved. |
Friggin awesome! Someone has a career in special effects.

Hunter S. Thompson wrote about a guy on the Presidential press plane who dropped his pager in the toilet and came out of the sheeter with his arm dyed blue up past his elbow. |

I placed mine on a sheet of steel on the ground.
Then i oxy-acet cut some 150mm steel plate above it. 4hrs of oxy cutting slag rendered it unrecognisable! I hated that phone! |
