In high school, I was at the blackboard solving a geometry problem when I announced to the class that I would need to circumcise the polygon to find the answer.

I knew the wrong word had slipped out and it took a couple of seconds for the class to figure it out and crack up.

I'm of German decent (I come from a decent German family), but those Fokkers always pissed me off.

A few years ago, on a project with lots of UI design, the Project Manager INSISTED that all of the documentation refer to "radial buttons".

For the non-programming types, they are called "radio buttons".

Ha! That makes me recall a friend who was interviewing a young job applicant at his cabinet shop. While being shown through the shop, the applicant asked, "Where's the alarm saw?" "The what?" "You don't have a radio alarm saw?"

The value-add of the new words here are really leveraging some synergies and creating new paradigms!!!

Wonderful old lady (RIP) in the neighborhood where I grew up was famous for her malapropisms.

She always refered to these two gals that lived on the corner as the lebanese ladies.

She also once mistakenly used tulip bulbs in place of shallots in a soup she was making, but that's a different story.

Ha! Shallots...that'll evoke peals of laughter (and bring tiers to your eyes).

If something gets ionized, can it be unionized?
If so, would the original ions then be unions?
Fried unions might be good, no?

I AM a PARTS pusher :P. First to answer a question, that elctronic catalog is easly fooled, you do NOT have to enter the engine size. But it is done to CYA. And being a parts guy it inferiorates me to no end to go into a Kragens or even another dealer ship and have to show them how to do there job.
That's it? No mention of the misuse of "there"? "elctronic"? "Kragen's or another dealership? Is he first to answer a question or is it, "First (comma) to answer a question...."?
