Damn &$^@ing Jello-O pudding lids!!!

WTF?!?! Everyone I open tears. If I'm lucky, only one side tears and I can carefully get the lid off, but other times I end up with this...

Sometimes, I get these that have foil lids and they come off without problem.

Bill Cosby - What's your excuse!!!

Gogar 10-26-2008 03:43 PM

It's That damn Irene Rosenfeld. Ever since they moved the pudding manufacturing from Scarborough, Ontario to Springfield, it's never been the same.:D

What really p's me off is when I open a yogurt at work and it spooges on my shirt when I pull back the foil lid. It was even worse when I lived in Colorado at altitude. I am sure Gogar knows what I mean ;)

While I feel bad for the 81 employees in Ontario, it's still no excuse!!!

Besides the all foil lids are for more effective than these obviously inferior plastic/foil lids.

I'm outraged!

I have learned to open the Yoplait lids slowly. ;)

This may work with the Yogurt, but I think it'll make my Jell-O situation even worse. :p

Oh Haha 10-26-2008 04:10 PM

That's funny.

My 2YO won't eat her pudding unless I removed the entire lid. I opened one for her the other day and a corner remained. I gave it to her and she replied" Daaaaaaadddy, take the lid off."Honey, it's ok, just eat it like that." "mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmy"

Wife: :She won;t eat it unless the whole lid is gone".
Me: @#$$##%^&*&^%$-stupid jello pudding makers.

You'd think, you know, it being 2008 and all......................

I get the 100 calorie, no fat variety, so, other than the lid issue you betcha!

austin552 10-26-2008 04:38 PM

You burn more cals opening them.

Shaun @ Tru6 10-26-2008 04:41 PM

LOL, I'm off! after 3 chili cheese dogs for lunch, I need some balance in my diet!

DeutschMark 10-26-2008 04:42 PM

That looks better than the old metal lids that kids would cut their tongue on when they licked it clean.

Shaun @ Tru6 10-26-2008 05:05 PM

Yes, but not 3-6 in one sitting like Shaun... :D

It's usually my desert (1) after dinner. On occasion, I'll have one before I go rollerblading - for the sugar (energy) rush.
