Independent BMW Service in NY or NJ wanted
Does anyone know a good shop that services late model (2003) BMWs that is NOT a dealer in the Tri-State area? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hey JC - Who is the guy in Amityville who is just north of Sunrise Hwy, near the LIRR station? His add is always in the MetroPCA newsletter.. I think he works on Bimmers and does good work.

http://www.tkxperformance.com/ Tasso is one of the PCA Tech guys. He is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and HONEST guys I have ever met. There are other shops around but I can personally vouch for them. There are others on the board who will as well. Good luck.

Kinda far from you, but the absolute best there is (think John walker of BMW) is Steve Vicari at Vicari Motors in Frenchtown, NJ. I found him when I got my 2002 in 1988 and a buddy of mine from Staten Island drives all the way out to use him too.

John, before Billy opened his own place, he was BMW trained, he worked for Hassel BMW.
