Prisoner Release from Gitmo Begins
 

I was rather surprised to learn of this last night. It sounds like we are finally starting to release some prisoners. In addition, it appears as though we are trying to make ammends with them, and possibly send them home with a few things to help them get another start in life. It sounds like they are getting vouchers for housing, clothing, food, and all of the essentials needed to help them settle back into their lives. They will be provided with some form of cheap transportation, either scooters, small motorbikes, or even a decent car for the ones with a family.

The first wave is on their way home already. The Navy is transporting them. They even held a bit od a small ceremony for the first one, with all hands on deck, and a gala send off. I'm truly impressed with our men and women in the service. Their kind hearted good nature speaks volumes about them, and America as a whole. They should drop them off on some little island off Borneo somewhere that's about a half mile around and tell them "well, we were ordered to release ya, but that doesn't mean we gotta take ya'll home. Good luck to ya..."
