Thats the end of my Porsche season.

The &#¤%%& salt truck made sure of that early this morning. First sub zero night and they rush out the salt monster because people drive with no sense and end up in the trees otherwise..

Oh well, time to put her to bed for the winter. Last week I changed the oil. Have used Mobil 1 0w40 for four years but because of the recent years ZDDP debate I decided to go with Swepco 306 15w40 this time. For the first time the engine bottom and garage floor is now dry. I know you guys told me so years ago..

The rest of you northern guys about to bed your babies too soon? 911´s that is..

I hear ya. It's supposed to be 81 degrees here today but there's a slight chance of drizzle so the car is put to bed

First snow here (New York) might not come for another month or so, but when it does it is a pretty good contest on how much salt/sand the town can put on the roads. I say the rate is close to 1" of salt/sand to 4" of snow.

Yeah was 86 yesterday, still needed the beer cozies to keep em cool while out trick or treating.

Capped the evening sitting on a neighbors porch in shorts and tee while enjoying the night air, a 25 yr young Tawney Port and some good Dominican stogies.

Yeah life sucks.

No salt here in NW Ohio yet, but it is coming. We have had quite a few nights already just below freezing. I actually like this time of year though. Been driving the 911 nearly daily for the last several weeks. I am guessing maybe two more weeks till I pull the insurance and put it to bed for the winter.

Salt, salt. On the road and snow. It was only a month or two ago you were sitting on the beach with the kids.

Actually my heart doesn't really go out to you guys as our down under summer is just starting

Bill, I envy you. Australia and NZ always made me want to emigrate. I suppose you have never seen any salt on your roads. An eternal Porsche season.

Cool here and a little drizzle. I drive my car more in the winter than the summer. My A/C is marginal when its 100 F outside.

Uhh...you're hopefully not going to go into detail about what you're going to do with your fur hat when you find it, Markus (I've heard tales about you Swedish fluffers)!

Great day in southern Alberta, 16 deg C or 61 F (we are bilingual here!)!
Picked up a few items for the house, the highway called and the SC answered....
Until the clutch cable snapped 40 kilometers south of town....
Oh well..... I hope I can get a cable in and still get a couple more drives in...
