Electric chain saws are wimpy. Why can't he just use some kind of lead shield when confronted with all of these restrictions? Searching on the Net is difficult for something like this because of the two meanings of "lead." Since PM's use leads to connect, that's what the bulk of the hits come back as. However, there is at least one patent application for a shielded PM using nickel. I'd just get one of those things from the dentist's office. It's not that heavy.

They make chainsaws that run on hydraulic fluid but you have a power source and hoses with them as well.
