Sometimes Santa Barbara is not so bad

View from my backyard after a hard day at work. It hard to get better then sitting on the deck with the family enjoying an evening like this. Hope everyone's night is going as well!

I envy you guys. I lived at 6613 Del Playa in Isla Vista for four years, right on top of the sea cliff. I wish I could have found honest employment after UCSB. At least I still live on the coast. Oddly enough, we had a very similar sunset tonight way up here. I can't complain too much.

You suck. I lived in SB and Summerland for a few years and did carpentry in Montecito. The best place to live, ever. Except for the cost and the congestion. Oh, for a pitcher or two at Peabodys.

Mike, Things with Stay Puff are good. I just got some new track shoes (new to me at least and not quite the beasts you have there ) and cant wait to try them out. 15X7 BBS with some perfectly scrubbed in RA1"s in the 205/50 size. The rims came from Milt at a great price and the tires from a buddy who runs in a spec Miata class and they are going to 888 so he is giving me all his semi used RA1's. Should have 8 or so track days out of 10 tires. Brad, Its been to long and we need to do beers soon! Steve, I am sure I have seen that BMW around. It looks fantastic. Yes, SB is a very nice place to live. I have been fortunate enough be able to make a living and raise a family in a place like SB. My 3 kids are 4th generation Santa Barbarians.
