Anone else getting these calls?
 

My friends, family and neighbors are scared and are calling me asking about it and the conversation invariably gets to home defense weapons. Seems everyone here (near Detroit, MI) is convinced that our civil society is breaking down fast and that they feel the need to prepare. I try to keep them calm and rational and help them evaluate things and not get too emotional. Everyone reacts to stress differently, but everyone here is stressed and it's bubbling to the surface. anyone else get these calls?

yes.

I just keep driving by half full strip malls and thinking that it will be a long time before they fill up and new ones will be built.

If I get a chance to get out, like Thailand or something I'm gone.

3 people I used to work with at Ford (IT auditors) lost their jobs this week. Brutal...

Several more of my coworkers/friends from church, and neighbors etc... have asked me how to buy a gun and how to carry it and what to buy just this past week... Very strange times!
