We're rare. Sort of like the condor. We're trying to help propagate the species, my wife's one too -- her PhD in 2007 is in "Metallurgy", not "metallurgical engineering" or some sc-hi-en-tist thingy.
What does the little lady do? She does actinide corrosion and plutonium casting stuff, also in the nuclear weapons industrial complex.
