All I have to say is why?

I know its not a 911, but this caught my eye while traveling to Kansas City this weekend. Pictures taken right outside Bentonville, AR (home of Wal-Mart.)

I like it.

I also like Walmart, where I drive my 911 at least two or three times per month.

I like the fact that the guy seems to have an airplane in his backyard (first photo).

As to why, the answer is just because he can. That is the freedom of the USA. I think it is really stupid to build that monstrosity, but he did not ask my opinion. He did not need permission from anyone to waste his time and money. I have seen many bigger and more expensive ways to waste money.

Arkansas, that explains everything!

Zeke 11-15-2008 06:49 PM

front engine, RWD. Well....

speeder 11-15-2008 06:54 PM

Why? Because it's freaking hilarious, that's why. I love it.

Porsche-O-Phile 11-15-2008 07:59 PM

I'd buy that just to drive on the L.A. freeways, cause it'd annoy the hell out of all the poseurs in their leased BMW SUVs. :) I like.

At least make the F'n rims match!

Wow, it seems as though I have struck a couple of cords, this was not my intention. It was suppose to be an interesting topic for some typical insomniac babble. Please, carry-on.

Really, that is cool - much better than those lifted British cars I've seen. Now if he was packing a SBC somewhere in there, it'd be even better.

Where the hell is BigChillCar when you need someone to explain how things are in Arkansas ??

KFC911 11-16-2008 02:30 AM

Some things just can't be explained...you have to BE there :)

ps: I've visited Fayetteville, AR several times over the past decade...always had a fantastic time in that "college town".

I dont think so.

Palum6o 11-16-2008 10:29 AM

gosh, at first glance I thought it was the body sitting on a trailer. Its probably 4 bolts away from a decent chasis.

Jared at Pelican Parts 11-16-2008 11:44 AM

There's a guy in Ventura County who has a VERY nice 240Z all jacked up on a 4x4 frame. I see him towing a trailer all the time. I think it's cool, personally.

as for the 914, awesome.

billwagnon 11-16-2008 05:51 PM

I've seen that for the last 3 years or so. I don't think it ever moves!

Good pictures! :)

M.D. Holloway 11-16-2008 06:04 PM

I like it, but then again I have no taste and a bad attitude, fat belly, smelly breath, long toenails, disruptive flatulance and short attention span and habitual dip spitter...
