Was to move the politics and religion,,, I almost never go over there , just did and came back. I really don't miss all that crap.. Plus I find myself actually liking some of the people that I know I couldn't get along with in alot of those discussions..

I can't stand the constant negativity over there. I stopped visiting OT until Wayne split it. Now I only come here. Unless I get drunk and think it's a good idea to check out the dark side (it always ends badly).

Amen, amen, amen. I go over there once in a while just to see the crap and get all cozy with the fact that **they** are over there and not inflicting their commentary on otherwise normal threads....

Totally agree. I got real sick of all that really quick. OT is much more enjoyable now.

I had my doubts at first, but I now think it was a great move!

Where's my bottle...I'm gonna go visit PARF :). I had pretty much stopped coming to OT before the split, but after a while started peeking (and posting) in PARF when I felt like it. Some are "consumed" with politics (or so it seems), but I'm not, and it DID get very tiresome "here". I'd call it a success too!

Thats what I experience too. Even the PARF is quite benevolent these days. Despite an election year!

I think it works to have it separate... I've seen it done on other message boards and it worked.

BTW, PARF is the only place you can find out about stuff like the CommemorativeObamaPlate...
