I went to live.com and did a search for "hp laptop" If you then click a link that has a small gold coin icon and text that says "live search cashback" next to it, you'll then get a pop up asking for your email address from live.com

Is it me or is that cashback deal confusing? I keep thinking I'll do something wrong and lose it. When I've seen specific rebate amounts on cameras, it's 2-6% or so and not competitive with other outright deals. How do you know what cashback you're getting if you buy something used on eBay for a "Buy It Now?"

You get to a cash back screen before you do your final check out, at least on Ebay.
