help w/ gift for a superhero...

...sort of fella.

My brother is a really good guy, normal, married, 3 kids and is nearly a celebrity in his town for doing a great job as an elementary school teacher. He doesn't make a ton of money and is completely responsible and independent.

However, he's always had a soft spot for Marvel superhero characters. I'd like to get him some sort of x-mas gift that not everyone has but am lost for what that might be. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott

A "cell" or artwork from a character/artist he likes. Think of that guy's shop in "Unbreakable."

If you know what superhero he really likes you can go to a collectible book/comic store and pic up a mint early edition of his favorite.

I'm not much for comic books so I don't have any ideas but I applaud you for thinking so much of your brother that you would go to the lengths you are to give him something that thoughtful. He sounds like a great guy. Hope you find a suitable gift.

Bump.

How about a life size Super or Spiderman doll? My brother used to have a 6 foot tall deal that looks like "The Scream", as he was into that artist. Of course, he made it himself out of paper mache

How about locating a local artist (high school or college) and having him/her draw a poster-size depiction of his favorite superhero. Have it framed for him too.......My oldest brother liked the Alien vs. Predator, so I did this for him.

Just another idea, David
