Buying an RV

Been messing around with the idea of buying an RV.
Advantages we will have a place to evacuate to everytime a Hurricane comes ripping through town. Also should be able to pull race car on a trailer. Place to stay cool, dry, or warm on the crappy race days. no need to find hotel close to track.
and the most important I heard these things can get finaced like a house and can be a tax deduction. Only thing un like a house the Rv will depreciate over time.

Look up the thread by Chris Streit here in OT. He just upgraded his RV recently.

Look into buying used. I suspect there are some lightly-used bargains for sale right now.

I was hanging out with one of my racer buddies this weekend who defines the term "Pimpin IS easy".
40ft class A pusher with another 40 ft enclosed car hauler.
Not looking to go that far. but the Diesel powered Navion by Itasca is pretty cool.

Search Craigslist in your area as there are tons of used for sale.

Can't give them away here.

Should be able to get an amazing deal.

Drive it now while the price of gas is down.

It certainly won't last.

Joe, here are some threads where we discussed motorhomes, towing, etc...

Found a used Motorhome/Tow Vehicle

Weight distributing hitches

Motorhome advice

I've been RV'ing (95% to the racetrack) for about 5-6 years now so if I can help, drop me a line.
