Guitar thread: Fender Esquire rescue project
Hello, all. Its been a while since I've posted anything here, but I thought I would share this project that I rescued from ebay recently. Honestly, it probably should have been put out on the curb with the garbage instead of sold on eBay. I thought it was a lost cause when I opened the box and saw it for the first time, but it actually turned out to be a really good guitar. A complete basketcase with every possible issue, but nothing that some aircraft grade paint stripper, glue, some tooled leather, a few dowels, screws, two part epoxy, and some good parts couldn't fix :)

A little tooled leather action

I've got about $350 in it, and it looks, sounds, and plays like an old reliable battle axe. It still needs a good setup from a real luthier, but Im so geeked that I was able to make a guitar out of it. |
Got bored with no porsche, eh? Godd seeing ya back Shuie!
